Samarkand Restaurant in Milan is not only a hut for real eaters but also a place of encounter

between people of different cultures; the role Samarkand City played centuries ago. Samarkand in

Milan plays the role of a new caravanserai in the contemporary world to let the East meet the West

and make a dialogue. It’s ideated based on Venetian Marco Polo’s travels to the East where he

stopped at different points of the Silk Road and met a lot of new people and new cultures including

new culinary tastes. Our recipes are prepared from high quality organic ingredients with a mixture

of Italian and Central Asian culinary arts and the tastes different countries spices. Our business
